KFC Collectable Cup

The brief asked for a cool and desirable design to go on a plastic cup to be given away by KFC to promote their introduction of Soda Fountains in their restaurants.

My intention was to build the design around the idea of bubbles, which would be made of clear plastic to show the contents of the cup. I ended up using a stream of giant bubbles to further the feeling of movement.

Here is the concept and a sample of part of the design to indicate colours and rendering style.

I've also included a couple of concept roughs that lead me in the direction of the final design.

Danone Yogurt Magnet Set

The brief called for a series of ten vinyl magnets built around a theme that reflected Danone Yogurt (healthy and family friendly) aimed at three to seven year olds (and their parents). I decided on an outdoor theme, but didn't want to have a series based on sport as that seem too gender specific, and then thought of the outdoor playground setting. I wanted to tie the designs together to further the idea that this was a set to collect.

A girl and her cat, the later of whom can transform themselves to be able to walk and talk like a human.

The girl is based upon my wife's kid sister.
